While born in the local Trail hospital, Jill Amantea is a native of Rossland. She started her dance training at the early age of three, and is currently attending the Kootenay Dance Academy at Rossland Secondary. Jill performs regularly in local events and competes in festivals around BC. She has attended classes at the Royal Winnipeg and Alberta Ballet, and recently attended a four week dance workshop in Salzburg, Austria.
