Lucas, who has been the Follies director since 2018, is excited to be bringing this latest production to the Rossland Miners Hall stage for the Gold Fever Follies. It is such a gift to be able to work with such a talented and committed cast. Lucas is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada and has performed in many of the major theatres across Canada as well as touring internationally. In 2007 he returned to Nelson to raise a family and formed PilotcoPilot Theatre with a mandate to create work which is accessible, thought-provoking, and highly theatrical. He tours his own one person shows locally and provincially. (*Note from LH: His one-man shows are delightfully humorous, and definitely thought-provoking, and yes, Lucas, too, appeared on the Follies stage as a youth…let’s say “a few” years ago. ☺)
