Michaela was born and raised in Rossland. She grew up dancing at Steps Dance Centre focusing on tap, ballet, and jazz techniques. She ultimately switched her focus to train and compete for the Black Jack Cross Country Ski Team as well as the BC Ski Team until 2018. She is currently in her final year at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria. Past credits include: Mrs. Millennium, Urinetown and Poppy Smits, The Great Invention.
