Just a day before the Follies was scheduled to open, Madeline Jane had to step away from the show due to health issues. Fortunately, Rhythm Storm, a returning cast member from 2019, was willing to take on the role even though it meant she had less than a week to master her role.
Rhythm is thrilled to be back for a second summer with the Gold Fever Follies. Originally cast to perform this show in 2020 (ultimately cancelled due to COVID), and then again in 2021, Rhythm had to step away when the Follies thought the entire season was going to have to be rehearsed and performed over the internet. Reason: her own access to the internet was “iffy”. When her replacement, Madeline Jane had to then step away as well, Rhythm was only too happy to rejoin the cast. Rhythm has recently graduated from Mt. Sentinel Secondary where she attended four years of their Performance and Media Academy. She has a background in multiple styles of dance, and has sung in two audition-only choirs. She has always had big acting dreams, and intends to move to Vancouver to continue pursuing them after the summer. Her recent theatre credits include Grimm Tales (Mt. Sentinel Theatre Dept), The Big BOOM Theory (GFF), and Alice In Wonderland (Mt. Sentinel Academy). She hopes you enjoy the show!
