Jeffrey M. L. Hill

David

Jeffrey is a fourth year vocal performance major studying at Oberlin College Conservatory in Ohio. In addition to three previous seasons with the Gold Fever Follies, he has several opera credits to his resumé – including Herr Fluth in Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor, Revolutionary Chorus in Les Dialogues des Carmelites, Masetto and Aeneus, Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro (Act IV), Mr. Gobineau in The Medium (Menotti), and Monastatos in The Magic Flute. In the fall, he will be playing the role of Belcore in L’Elisir O’Amore. In addition to opera, Jeffrey is an avid musical theatre lover; his most noted performance is that of Tony in West Side Story. He has studied voice for 15 years with several teachers including Chuck and Audrey Bisset, Patrice Jegov, Richard Miller, and Kendra Colton. He is also very interested in teaching voice, and he was the director of the jazz choir in his senior year of high school. Hopefully, he will eventually become a world renowned opera star. Today, the Gold Fever Follies – tomorrow, the Met!!
